Research Rendezvous: How to (Not) Talk About AI

​Talking about AI has a way of going sideways. Critics get written off as anti-progress, enthusiasts wave off real concerns, and everyone leaves a little more dug in 😵‍💫

​For How to (Not) Talk About AI, a small project with the Netherlands Institute for Sound & Vision, we've been talking to people across the spectrum, plus the mediators who somehow keep the conversation going, about what helps and what doesn't.

​On September 22 we're getting the community together. We'll vent a little first to get it out of our systems, then share the tactics, tips and tricks that work for us, and look at where it goes next: whether it wants to become a game, a little deck of cards, or something else. Come rant, think, and play it through with us 💬

​Who it's for: anyone who's ever been mid-conversation about AI thinking "there has to be a better way than this." No expertise required, just opinions, the will to do better, and a bit of curiosity.

​A small note: we'll record parts of the session for the research (not publishing anywhere), and we'll remind everyone on the day.
