Repair Café QNS: Textile Repair
Bring your favorite well-worn piece to the Repair Café QNS Textile Repair Café, hosted by Queens Collaborative!
We’ll be on hand to help with the small fixes that can keep clothes in rotation: a loose button, a popped seam, a quick hem, a small hole, or a simple patch. We’ll also show you a few hand-sewing basics so you can tackle similar repairs at home.
Choose a timed entry slot when you sign up, and please arrive during that window. This helps us make sure everyone gets time with a repair volunteer.
If you have a matching button, thread, or fabric scrap, bring it along. Repairs are first come, first served within each time slot and depend on the item and time available.
WE CAN: help with small holes, buttons, quick hems, popped seams, and minor patches.
WE CAN'T: take on zippers, full alterations, relining, or large tears.
FIND US
Our studio is located at 21-07 41st Avenue. When you get to the building, please scan the QR code on the door and find The Collaboratory in the directory to be buzzed in.
Once inside, you can take the elevator to Floor 2 and find us in Studio #213.
MASK REMINDER
The Collaboratory is a *Masks Required* space. 😷 We also run two air filters/purifiers during our gatherings. If you don't arrive with a mask, don't worry—we'll have them available at the door.

REFUND POLICY
At this time the QNSC is unable to issue refunds except on a case by case basis. If you are unable to attend an event for which you have purchased a ticket, tickets can be transferred to another person at the buyer's arrangement.
