BICS x Truesec – Breaking Into Cybersecurity Event | Stockholm
Breaking Into Cybersecurity is hosting its first event together with Truesec.
This evening's theme is "The threat landscape in practice - how cybersecurity work actually looks today." We're bringing together speakers who can give concrete, real-world perspectives on what cybersecurity work actually looks like right now, rather than a theoretical overview.
BICS is an initiative created to make cybersecurity more accessible, human, and easier to explore. We welcome anyone curious about the field: students, people early in their journey, IT professionals moving toward security, and experienced practitioners who want to share what they've learned.

About the Speakers
Hasain Alshakarti - Truesec
With 30+ years in the industry, Hasain will be with us for the evening at Truesec, sharing tips and insights from his time in cybersecurity.
Kim Borg - Founder, VER&IT
Kim has worked in IT and security for over thirty years, from international corporations to Swedish municipal administration, and now runs the advisory firm VER&IT. He's currently the author of Sveriges digitala motståndskraft.
Jacob Henricson - CEO, Nørdsnipe
Jacob has been CISO at Ericsson and Skanska Sweden, and has also worked as a consultant at PwC and in startups, including Foreseeti, which was acquired by Google in 2022. Today he's CEO of Nørdsnipe, building AI-powered software for offensive security.
