CIP-113 was merged into Cardano's main CIP repository on September 29, after years of work and review, and was announced live on mainnet on October 7. It provides a standard for programmable tokens, allowing rules like allowlists, denylists, freezes, transfer limits and jurisdiction requirements to be enforced on-chain.

In this Roundtable Talk, we bring together teams building around real regulatory requirements to explore what CIP-113 could mean in practice, particularly from an enterprise and regulated-asset perspective.
During the session, we'll cover:

  • โ€‹What a shared standard could help simplify today

  • โ€‹What CIP-113 could make possible that wasn't practical before

  • โ€‹Where gaps still remain and what needs to be addressed

  • โ€‹Why these teams chose to build on Cardano
