Sim Racing Night: Building Teams in the Philippines
Umpisa Presents: Sim Racing Night: Building Teams in the Philippines
Houston's evening for business and technology leaders curious about what a great engineering team in the Philippines could do for their company.
Whether you're in energy, fintech, healthcare, manufacturing, logistics, or software, and whether you lead engineering, operations, IT, or the business itself, you'll meet people wrestling with the same question: how do we build more, faster, without the cost and hiring headaches of growing everything locally?
Why We're Hosting This
Most conversations about offshore teams happen in sales calls and slide decks. They focus on rates and headcount, and they rarely give you a chance to hear from people who have actually done it.
A relaxed evening where Houston professionals can ask honest questions about working with engineering teams in the Philippines: what works, what doesn't, and what it really takes to make a distributed team feel like one team.
And since good conversations happen more easily when there's something fun to do, we're hosting it at a sim racing venue. Grab a seat in a racing simulator, set a lap time, and talk shop in between.
