​HIKING BUDDIES is a horror slasher comedy feature film about a woman who is so obsessed with Leave No Trace principles that when her hiking buddies leave trash on the trail, she has to kill them! This is a cautionary tale to make viewers think twice about littering.

​Katherine Vondy (Director) is an award-winning director/writer and experienced film producer whose work includes Erosion's Pistachi-NO! and films featured on funnyordie.com. She has an MFA from USC’s School of Cinematic Arts and has worked extensively in the business/legal affairs department at Disney Television Studios.

​Tracy Held (Producer) is a film producer with experience raising over $3M in grants and donations and serves as the Vice-Chair of the WGA's Asian American Writers Committee. She is overcoming her fear of scary things to make HIKING BUDDIES.
