Climate Week on the Farm: Regenerative Agriculture & Ecosystem Restoration in Practice
Join Climate Farm School at Carnation Farms for an immersive experience exploring how regenerative agriculture works in real systems. From soil and food production to livestock, regional grain economies, and ecosystem restoration — and how these interconnected systems can help build climate resilience from the ground up.
This is not a lecture series. It’s a day of direct engagement with the land, farmers, and food systems shaping the future of climate resilience on one of the Pacific Northwest’s most dynamic regenerative farming operations. Across 818 acres of working farmland, pastures, riparian ecosystems, and production fields, participants will move through the land alongside farmers, educators, and systems thinkers actively stewarding it.
Together we'll explore:
Soil health and ecosystem restoration
Vegetable production and living systems
Holistic livestock integration
Regional grain economies
Farmer viability and food system resilience
Featuring:
Carnation Farms Team led by Eric Popp
Soil Health by Dr. Laney Siegner & Faith Van De Putte of Midnight's Farm
Farmer Pathways with Viva Farms
