Negotiation Tactics for Non-Lawyers
Most people think negotiation is something you’re either naturally good at or you’re not.
It isn’t.
Negotiation is a learnable set of skills, frameworks, and tactics available to anyone willing to put the effort in — how to prepare, frame the conversation, create leverage, trade instead of concede, and recognize what the other side is actually optimizing for.
This two-part workshop is designed to teach that muscle. Each evening includes two short didactic sections and two peer role-plays using fact patterns pulled from real digital health and venture situations—not just term sheets.
I’ve taught versions of this at NYU Future Labs, SOSA Accelerator, and elsewhere, and it remains one of the most practically useful things I teach.
Limited to 25 participants.
