About Event

About the Event :

Ladies’ Night is a storytelling show and dance party created by Dispatched Divorcée. It’s an evening of true personal stories told by women – stories about divorce, identity, reinvention, and everything in between. After the show, the stage transforms into a dance party.

The show runs roughly two hours and typically features 3 to 6 storytellers. Every story is personal, prepared, and true. There are no panels, no therapy sessions, and no wallowing about your ex. What you get are honest, vulnerable stories that make the room go quiet, erupt with laughter, and stay with us long after.

Ladies’ Night has been described by attendees as “revolutionary,” “instantly community,” and “the space I didn’t know I needed.”

Ladies’ Night is the live, public-facing event arm of Dispatched Divorcée. Each show is open to all women — not just divorcees. You don’t need to have been through a divorce to belong in this room.

About Laura and Dispatched Divorcée

Dispatched Divorcée was founded by Laura Howe, originally from Seattle and now based in Lausanne, Switzerland. Laura built this space because it was something she wished she’d had when her own marriage ended — not another resource about lawyers or finances, but a place focused on identity, community, and what comes next.

Dispatched Divorcée is a membership community for women who are going through divorce, in the aftermath of one, or rebuilding their lives after a relationship ended. It’s a place to remember who you are – not a place to gather and complain about exes.

The ethos of the community is: You’re not broken. You’re in between.
