About ICP Belgium
ICP Belgium is a community hub dedicated to supporting developers, enthusiasts, and professionals passionate about the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP) and Web3. Our mission is to foster collaboration, innovation, and growth within the blockchain ecosystem in Belgium.
What is ICP?
The Internet Computer Protocol (ICP) is a groundbreaking blockchain technology developed by the DFINITY Foundation that aims to extend the functionality of the internet by transforming it into a global, decentralized compute platform. Unlike traditional blockchains, ICP enables smart contracts, known as canisters, to run at web speed and scale without relying on centralized servers. This allows developers to build a wide range of applications—from simple websites to complex, enterprise-level systems—all directly on the blockchain. Learn more about ICP on the official Internet Computer website.
