About cyber//chiffon
cyber//chiffon is an artist collective established by Taylor Elise Colimore (she/her) and Noren G-H (they/them) during a shared studio grant at VCUarts The Anderson in 2023. Coming together and pulling from their time-based fine arts background, they explore the intersection of classical craft and emerging media technologies with the joint desire to communicate their inner truths.
In the pursuit of self acceptance, independently this pair redefines, bends, or embraces societally prescribed labels. Conversations about their contrasted identities uncover unexpected commonality. Digital and analog, subversive and unapologetic, androgyny and femininity, they and she; these are the distinctions that speak to both counterparts.
