नुक़्ताचीनी: Hindi-Urdu pronunciation for stage artists | Workshop
Nuqtacheeni/नुक़्ताचीनी | With Harshit Gupta.
📌 Nuqtacheeni is a small, trial workshop on basic Hindi-Urdu pronunciation with Harshit Gupta.
The khs, ghs, qs and zs we confidently flatten. The words we’ve heard in songs, films and poetry for years. But never quite stopped to examine...
The small shifts in sound that can change how a word feels. And if you’re prone to these goof-ups, what it means.
This isn't a Hindi-Urdu class. There will be no tests at the end.
Think of it instead as two hours of paying closer attention to a language many of us already speak, hear and love. And hopefully, walking out pronouncing a few things a little differently.
This first session is a free trial workshop, and we’re intentionally keeping the room small. Future sessions will be priced at ₹5,000 per session.
This workshop is strictly for stage artists. The aim is to have a room of people who can immediately connect the exercises to their practice, performance and relationship with spoken language.
You’ll also notice that the sign-up form is longer and more involved than a usual event RSVP. That is intentional. We want to filter for genuine interest and make sure the people in the room are there because they really want to be there. A smaller, more intentional room means everyone gets more out of the two hours.
If this is your first Spotlight Session with us...
C4E’s Spotlight Sessions are intimate gatherings for our family, friends, and some lovely strangers we've gotten to meet on the Internet.
Each edition has a different texture, a different aftertaste.
But with each one, we wish you to leave feeling energised, curious, or as if your mind expanded. Either through the session itself, or through the people you get to meet.
And that means this will be a curated bunch of people.
