Leicester Comedy: What Happens Next? ONLINE

​Join Equity East Midlands for a special branch meeting and panel discussion with some of the people closest to the all-new Leicester Independent Comedy Festival.

​With a focus on looking forwards, we’ll hear from those involved about what we can expect from the festival and the future of comedy in the city. There will be an opportunity to put your questions to the panel and network with comedians, creatives and other members of our regional performance community.

​Confirmed contributors include Alex Hylton; David Elphick, Vice-Chair of the Live Comedy Association; Tony Flint, Manager of De Montfort Hall and Lead for Leicester’s night-time and cultural economy; and Ian Manborde, Equity Organiser for the Midlands.

​Equity branch meetings are also a chance to meet other people working across the entertainment industry, build your network and find out what your union is doing locally.
