Builders of the Future

Calling bold entrepreneurs and change-makers.

This special gathering, co-hosted by Prosperity Lab UFM and Outliers, is designed for courageous thinkers who believe business can transform a country.

Prosperity Lab UFM, an initiative of Universidad Francisco Marroquín, for over fifty years UFM has taught—primarily through the university classroom—the ethical, legal, and economic principles necessary to support the emergence of freedom-oriented and market-based political economies. Now they seek to share these foundational insights more widely. With the creation of Prosperity Lab, UFM seeks to accelerate prosperity creation and improve quality of life in developing communities by creating new data-informed understandings of thriving entrepreneurial societies and introducing relevant educational content to new audiences outside the traditional academic community.

Outliers is built on three core pillars: Business, Impact, and Fun. This edition focuses on Business and Impact — exploring how entrepreneurs can scale companies while creating meaningful progress for Guatemala.

Our featured speaker, Ricardo Santizo, an Outlier who spent 12 years abroad and returned to Guatemala to build and scale high-impact ventures, will share his journey. Through companies like PedidosYa, Smart Fit, and Mira Mira, Ricardo has helped generate employment, expand access, and introduce innovation into the country’s ecosystem.

This is a free event (in zone 10). Approval is required, with priority given to entrepreneurs and founders.

Join us for a powerful morning of learning, bold conversations, brainstorming, and collaboration... all centered around one question:

How can we, as entrepreneurs, build a better Guatemala?

*** We have limited spots available. Please be mindful when RSVPing, as last-minute cancellations take away opportunities from others. To keep things fair, anyone who cancels at the last minute will not be able to join the next two events.
