As digital assets move further into the regulatory mainstream, the definition of “trust” in crypto is being actively rewritten—by those responsible for enforcing it, measuring it, and designing for it.
This panel brings together three critical vantage points: frontline compliance and Travel Rule implementation, independent risk and audit evaluation, and protocol-level policy development shaping global standards. Together, they’ll unpack how these roles increasingly overlap—and where they diverge.
The conversation will explore: • The current state (and real gaps) in Travel Rule implementation across jurisdictions • How firms actually assess counterparty risk in a world of imperfect data • The role of auditors and advisors in validating—or challenging—compliance frameworks • What policymakers and protocol ecosystems are prioritizing now (and what’s coming next) • Where regulation is helping vs. hindering real risk reduction • How public-private coordination can move from performative compliance to meaningful security.
Rather than abstract theory, this session will focus on what’s actually working, what’s breaking, and what needs to evolve—fast.
Attendees will walk away with a clearer understanding of how compliance, risk, and policy are converging into a single function: enabling safe, scalable adoption of crypto in the real world.
