Safe & Ethical AI Vienna Meetup: The Future of Work
This is the sixth meetup of Safe & Ethical AI Vienna -- a cross-disciplinary community of professionals from academia, industry and policy who work on, think about and care deeply about the risks posed by AI, be they ethical, societal, psychological or existential.
The topic of this meetup is:
The Future of Work
We will start with two or three lightning talks from the members of our community working on AI governance and then dive into the topic of how the job market and society as a whole are already changing because of increasing AI adoption and the use of AI agents, and how it will look like in the future when AI is even more capable, even more ubiqutous and even more generalist.
We will touch on these questions:
-- which jobs can and will be taken by AI?
-- How to ensure a sustainable future with people losing jobs to AI? How to create more human jobs?
-- Is universal income a realistic option?
