Rise In Power: A Sacred Dance Portal for Black and Brown Women

​What would it feel like to take up space in your own power?

​Rise in Power is an intentional dance experience for Black + Brown women to release what’s been weighing us down, remember who we are beneath all the noise, and reclaim the joy, freedom, and power that already lives within us.

​Through music, movement, ritual, and community, we’re creating a sanctuary to get out of our heads and back into our bodies. An evening to play, take up space, and let our bodies express what words sometimes can’t.

​We’ll begin with a cacao ceremony ☕🍫🤎 — a heart-centered ritual to help us settle into our bodies and tap into our own frequency before moving into a guided dance journey centered around the theme Release • Remember • Reclaim.

• ​curated music journey designed to help you tap TF in 🎶

• ​guided movement prompts to explore + release

• ​go go gadget table that’ll spark your inner child (bubbles, hula hoops + playful movement tools 🫧)

• ​oracle card pull

• ​closing circle for reflection

• ​alcohol free space

• ​doors open at 7pm + activation begins at 7:30pm

​No choreography or dance experience required. Just an open mind, a willingness to move, and permission to follow wherever your body leads you.

​Bring your full self. This is your invitation to take up space, move without judgment, and come back to yourself.

​🌍 Non-melanated women who genuinely share and respect the vision and understand that this space is created by and for Black + melanated women are welcome.
