This event strategically timed to immediately precede biotech’s JPMorgan conference promises to be an exciting and engaging occasion, marking the beginning of another successful year.

Building on the momentum of 2025's inaugural event with over 180 attendees, 2026’s gathering will feature an array of activities designed to foster collaboration, innovation, and team spirit. Daniel Kraft
Founder & Chair, NextMed Health

Daniel Kraft is a Stanford and Harvard-trained physician-scientist, inventor, entrepreneur, and innovator. With over 25 years of experience in clinical practice, biomedical research and healthcare innovation, Kraft has served as faculty chair for Medicine at Singularity University since its inception in 2008, and in 2011 founded NextMed Health (previously called Exponential Medicine) a program and community that explores convergent, rapidly developing technologies and their potential in biomedicine and healthcare. He serves as Chair of the XPRIZE Pandemic & Health Alliance.

Daniel is a member of the Inaugural class of the Aspen Institute Health Innovators Fellowship and is member of the Kauffman Fellows Society. He is a managing partner with Continuum Health Ventures which is focused on funding early stage health tech companies enabling the democratization of health and improved healthspan for all.

Keiko Oishi
President and COO, CMIC HOLDINGS Co., Ltd

Since joining CMIC in 1996 as Manager of Strategy Development, Ms. Oishi has led International Business Development across Japan and Asia Pacific, which brings in foreign pharma and biotech companies interested in drug development in Japan and Asia to start their regulatory and clinical activities in the region. She is currently the President and COO of CMIC HOLDINGS Co., Ltd., responsible for group-wide business execution, by overseeing and managing Clinical and Non-clinical CRO (Contract Research Organization), CDMO (Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization), SMO (Site Management Organization) and Marketing Solution (Contract Sales Organization).

Barbara Troupin, MD, MBA
Fractional Chief Medical Officer

Barbara Troupin is a fractional Chief Medical Officer working for several early-stage biotech, therapeutics and digital health companies. She works to guide teams on portfolio strategy, clinical development, regulatory planning and engagement, fundraising, and company growth. She also sits as an Independent Director on the Board of Equillium Bio (NASDAQ: EQ), and ProSciento, a private-equity backed CRO. Over her 20+ years as a life science executive, her roles have spanned Clinical, Medical, Regulatory, Operations and Strategy functional areas, working in both private and public companies. She holds an MD from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business. She is broadly curious; an avid connector and values relationships where mutual learning and growth occur.

June-Mei Han
Chief, Drug and Medical Device Compliance and Enforcement Section
Food and Drug Branch California Department of Public Health

June graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Molecular and Cell Biology. She has worked for the California Department of Public Health, Food and Drug Branch (FDB), for over 22 years. She started in the branch’s food safety program and has spent the last 18 years in pharmaceutical and medical device regulation and enforcement. June is currently the chief of FDB's Drug and Medical Device Compliance and Enforcement Section.
