Protocol for the mindful athlete

Designed as a ritual for or practice and perspective, exploring the many ways in which we can find mindfulness in both the everyday and the extraordinary.

Blackwater RC and MUSHIN NOSHIN come together for a collaborative practice that intersects between movement and stillness. Designed to build awareness or reconnect with the present, the run becomes a way in. Followed by an attentiveness to what the body carries once movement settles.

We seal our practice with a guided breathwork, light mobility, a moment of gratitude, and tea, all held within the same continuum. Nothing here is asking you to change or improve. Only to create a more spacious inner landscape.

給正念跑者的實踐步驟

台北跑步單位 Blackwater RC 與 以當代禪的靜室 MUSHIN NOSHIN 無心之心 共同策劃一場交織於動與靜之間的淨念觀心的練習。旨在喚回覺察,重返當下,跑步是我們進入的途徑。接著,將注意力轉向身體在運動修復後所承載的一切。

練習以引導呼吸法、輕度伸展、一段冥想的時刻以及喝茶舒緩身心的緊繃,一切都發生在同一個延續的空間裡。這裡不要求進步或結果,只為創造一片屬於自己的內在空間。

限30位跑友參加。

Agenda 活動流程

Pre-Component - Awareness | 5-10 Minutes

The goal here is to prime the nervous system and establish a "stillness-to-movement" connection.

Mindful 5K Run | 35-40 Minutes

5K - mindful, conversational pace

Guided Mobility | 5-10 Minutes

5-10 minute stretch post-run to cool down by releasing tension and transition to the meditation.

Post-Run Component - Arrival | 15-20 Minutes

Seated body scan led by Serena. Attention moves to the legs — tension, strain or fatigue. The effort is acknowledged without evaluation. Shift from what the body did to how the body feels now.

準備階段 — 覺知啟動|5-10 分鐘

此階段的目標,在於喚醒神經系統,建立「從靜至動」的連結。

靜觀 5K 跑|35-40 分鐘

以可對話的節奏,進行 5 公里靜心跑步。

引導式伸展|5-10 分鐘

透過 5-10 分鐘的緩和伸展,釋放緊繃,為接下來的冥想階段過渡。

跑後階段 — 身心歸位|15-20 分鐘

由 Serena 帶領坐姿身體掃描。注意力緩緩移至雙腿 — 感受其中的緊繃、勞累或疲憊。不帶評判地,如實接納這份身體的付出。將思緒從「身體做了什麼」,轉向「身體此刻的感受」。

Our Guide 引導老師

Serena is a yoga teacher and runner with a background in psychology. Her work is grounded in breath, somatic awareness, and attentive movement.

Within this collaboration, Serena guides breathwork and mindfulness practices that support this shift. Running functions as an entry point, not a means to an end. What follows is space for awareness and quiet continuity.

在本系列的合作中,Serena 將引導呼吸與靜觀練習,以支持狀態的轉換。跑步在此作為一個入口,而非終點;隨之開啟的,是覺察的空間與寧靜的延續。

Details 活動資訊

Ticket price: NT$500

The ticket covers participation in the practice and use of the space, and includes one drink of choice, selected on-site. Guests may choose between a Blackwater-exclusive hot tea or a Blackwater-exclusive coffee / tea blend, both developed by Mushin Noshin for the morning.

Additional elements may be added to the morning practice as the format is finalized.

Capacity is limited to 30 guests to preserve attention, comfort, and respect for the space.

費用包含活動參與與場地使用,並提供一杯現場飲品。飲品可選擇由 MUSHIN NOSHIN 無心之心 為本次 Blackwater 特別調製的 Blackwater 限定熱茶,或 Blackwater 限定咖啡/茶混合飲品

活動內容仍在調整中,實際體驗項目可能於既有內容上有所增加。

為了保留專注、對空間的尊重 與 空間的舒適感,活動名額限 30 人。


Terms 活動條款與須知

  • Capacity: Limited to 30 guests.

    • Please do not walk-in. A waitlist will not be enabled.

  • Transfers: Tickets are transferable. Please ensure the final attendee name is updated prior to the event.

  • Refunds:

    • Tickets are non-refundable.

    • If you’re unable to attend, please let us know in advance by writing to [email protected]. Your ticket may be transferred to another guest so the space can be offered to someone else.

    • No refunds will be issued due to weather-related format changes.

    • Refunds or transfers are not available within 24 hours of the event.

  • Arrival: Leaving early is permitted. Please arrive on time so the practice can begin as intended.

  • Early departure: Leaving early is respected.

  • Weather contingency:

    • In the event of rain, the run portion will be removed.

    • The practice will continue indoors with breathwork, light mobility, meditation, and Mushin Noshin’s tea, service, and hospitality.

  • Physical activity disclaimer: Participation involves physical movement. Attendees take part at their own discretion and responsibility.

  • This practice is designed and facilitated by experienced practitioners and as a guided movement and mindfulness experience. It is not intended to provide medical, psychological, or mental health treatment, and should not be understood as a substitute for professional care. Participants are encouraged to move, rest, and engage within their own limits.

  • 人數限制:活動限額30位。恕不接受現場報名,亦不設候補名單。

  • 名額轉讓:票券可轉讓。請於活動前確認並更新最終參加者姓名。

  • 退費政策

    • 票券恕不退款
