Summit Overview

Day 1 - June 10 - We'll begin in GitHub.com with a two-hour GitHub 101 session covering account setup, repositories, collaboration essentials, an introduction to GitHub Copilot, and how to navigate GitHub’s on-demand learning resources. In the afternoon, we'll shift to an intermediate GitHub 102 session to explore more advanced tool workflows.

Day 2 - June 11 - You’ll learn how GitHub Copilot has evolved beyond autocomplete-style suggestions into a broader ecosystem of agents and extensible workflows that help developers design, debug, and ship software more efficiently. Throughout this day, focused on AI in education, you'll learn more about how Educators can leverage Copilot in introductory and more advanced sessions that delve into agentic workflows and the Copilot CLI.

Day 3 - June 12 - Attendees will get comprehensive demos from Codio and Fifty Foundation our newest partnerships transforming how educators teach computer science and supporting coding assignments, distributing starter code, and automating grading within the GitHub ecosystem: Codio, our exclusive commercial partner, and Fifty Foundation, our exclusive open source partner. Codio provides turnkey solutions with enterprise-level support and LMS integrations, while Fifty Foundation offers open source flexibility backed by a GitHub-cultivated educator community.

All three days will end with an open virtual session where you can apply your learnings from the day, ask questions and connect with the GitHub Team.
