The Chief of Staff Association is looking forward to welcoming members and invited guests to our next networking reception in London.
We are pleased to be joined by Patrick Harrison LVO, Partner at Highgate, a global advisory firm specialising in dispute resolution and special situations. With more than 30 years’ experience across the public and private sectors, Patrick has supported leaders and organisations in managing high-stakes issues and complex reputational challenges. His career includes serving as Press Secretary to His Majesty The King when he was HRH The Prince of Wales, Director of Corporate Affairs at Weber Shandwick, and Assistant Director of Information for the UK Government. Patrick is also a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Communicators and Chair of Gabrieli, an award-winning choir and period instrument orchestra.
In his session, 'The Language of Leadership in a Crisis', Patrick will draw on experiences from his career to explore how leaders can manage crises with clarity and confidence. He will discuss why doing nothing is a risk in itself, the importance of building relationships in good times to ensure support when challenges arise, and the value of diversity of thought and experience in preparing teams to respond effectively when the stakes are high.
