​Welcome to the OpenAI Codex Community Hackathon in Kochi - bringing together some of the most ambitious builders in the region to go beyond prompts and start orchestrating intelligent systems.

Build Directions

​​​​If any of these ideas excite you, we want you in the room:

• ​​​​Agentic Coding: Build developer tools that maximize leverage from Codex as an AI coding agent.

• ​​​​UX for Agentic Applications: Design AI-native interfaces and workflows for agent-driven software.

• ​​​​Multimodal Intelligence: Create applications that reason across multiple modalities.

• ​​​​Domain Agents: Build vertical agents that operate within real-world constraints.

• ​​​​Building Evals: Develop tools to measure, debug, and improve agent performance.

​​​​Prizes

​​​​🥇 1st Place — $10,000 USD in OpenAI API credits
🥈 2nd Place — $5,000 USD in OpenAI API credits
🥉 3rd Place — $1,000 USD in OpenAI API credits

In addition, all members of the top five teams will receive one year of ChatGPT Pro.

​​​​This event is organized by OpenAI Codex Ambassadors. This is a community-driven initiative supported by OpenAI.

​​​​Steps to find your OpenAI Org ID:

​​​​Log in: Go to platform.openai.com and log in to your account.

1. ​​​​Navigate to Settings: Click on your profile icon or the gear icon (Settings) in the top-right corner, or go directly to platform.openai.com/account/org-settings.

   1. ​​​​Note: If you see the text "Start building" - please complete the organisation creation process first!

2. ​​​​Find ID: Look under the "Organization"section on the General tab. Your Organization ID will be displayed there. Copy entire ID starting with “org-“ and paste in the registration form.

​​​​Just a few quick reminders to help the day run smoothly:

​​​​1) Approval is on an individual basis

• ​​​​​If you're attending as a team, each member needs to be registered and approved separately.

• ​​​​​If someone on your team didn’t receive this email, it means they’re not approved.

• ​​​​​Because space is limited, we’ll only be able to admit approved participants.

​​​​​2) Arrival timing

• ​​​​​Registration opens at 9:00am, and we’ll begin at 10:00am sharp.

• ​​​​​To keep things fair for everyone, check-in closes at 10:00am and we won’t be able to admit late arrivals.

​​​​​3) In-person event

• ​​​​​This is an in-person-only event.

• ​​​​​If your plans change or you can’t arrive by 10:00am, we’d really appreciate you cancelling your spot so someone on the waitlist can join.

• ​​​​​We do keep track of no-shows to help us plan future community events fairly.
