Los Abstraccioneros
Opening Performance - Peruvian Cumbia
Openers Los Abstraccioneros (Adolfo Ibañez, Adriana Magaña, and Brian McCorkle) bring the hypnotic rhythms of Amazonian cumbia to life with electrifying guitar lines, deep groove, and psychedelic textures rooted in the musical traditions of Peru’s rainforest cities.
Their performance will accompany a short film highlighting Camino Verde’s work restoring forests and supporting Indigenous communities in the Peruvian Amazon.
John Medeski
Headlining Solo Piano Performance
John Medeski — internationally renowned keyboardist and founding member of the avant-jazz trio Medeski Martin & Wood — presents an intimate solo piano performance blending jazz, improvisation, and genre-defying exploration.
Medeski will also join Los Abstraccioneros for special collaborative moments during the evening.
100% of proceeds support rainforest restoration and the communities who protect the Amazon through Camino Verde.
