During this session, early leaders from Brex will share stories from their early days of fundraising and various GTM strategies.

Followed by the early stories, we will dive into the thought process behind fundraising and practical ways to calculate your startup’s runway.

Speakers:

Jimmy Stephens - Head of Startups.

As Brex’s 3rd GTM hire, Jimmy scaled the startups & MM team over the past ~5 years. He was heavily involved in building all of the early motions for GTM across sales, marketing, branding, and hiring. Before Brex, Jimmy was at SoFi, another popular FinTech company.

Dan Mullen - Strategic Partnerships, Accelerators & VCs.

Dan started his career at Goldman Sachs in New York City. He spent time in various roles in his 6 years at GS including: Sales & Trading, Strategy & Operations, and Investment Management for the partners of the firm. Dan joined Brex in 2021 as an early member of the Startups org. Today, Dan is leading strategic partnerships with early stage VC's and Accelerators for Brex and Pry.

Nick Fenn - Pry

Nick spent 5 years in startup GTM organizations. Spent 2+ years at Flexport working on new product lines. One of the first sales hires at Pry post Brex Acquisition and now helping startups build out their financial plans.
