📍 Event Overview
BUIDL CTC Ideathon Ethiopia is an in-person, beginner-friendly session held ahead of BUIDL CTC 2026, a global builder program. It’s designed as an open space for students, developers, and Web3 enthusiasts to explore ideas, learn, and confidently take their first step toward building for the hackathon
This ideathon is part of the BAS Global Activation Program and is focused on education, product ideation, and builder onboarding. It’s a beginner-friendly space where students and developers can explore Web3 ideas, form teams, and gain clarity before jumping into a full hackathon.
No polished product required.
No prior Web3 experience needed.

Prizes are designed to reward strong ideas and help teams continue building toward Buidl CTC 2026.
⚖️ Judging Criteria
Ideas will be evaluated based on:
• Clarity of the problem – Is the problem real and well-defined
• Creativity & originality – Is the idea fresh or approached in a unique way
• Relevance to Web3 – Does the idea meaningfully use Web3 concepts
• Feasibility – Can this idea realistically be built and scaled
• Impact – Potential value for users, community, or local ecosystem
