BUIDL CTC Ideathon Ethiopia is an in-person, beginner-friendly session held ahead of BUIDL CTC 2026, a global builder program. It’s designed as an open space for students, developers, and Web3 enthusiasts to explore ideas, learn, and confidently take their first step toward building for the hackathon

​This ideathon is part of the BAS Global Activation Program and is focused on education, product ideation, and builder onboarding. It’s a beginner-friendly space where students and developers can explore Web3 ideas, form teams, and gain clarity before jumping into a full hackathon.

​No polished product required.
No prior Web3 experience needed.

⚖️ Judging Criteria

Ideas will be evaluated based on:

​• Clarity of the problem – Is the problem real and well-defined
• Creativity & originality – Is the idea fresh or approached in a unique way
• Relevance to Web3 – Does the idea meaningfully use Web3 concepts
• Feasibility – Can this idea realistically be built and scaled
• Impact – Potential value for users, community, or local ecosystem
