About the Tech Leaders' Forum
Tech Leaders’ Forum is an in-person English-language meetup series for modern Tech Leaders navigating complex leadership and engineering challenges. Instead of slide decks and keynote talks, we host moderated panel discussions with active audience participation, focusing on real-world situations, challenges, and lessons.
This session is a special edition and will take place on the evening of the first day of the Compass AI & Tech Summit. Attendance is intentionally limited to create a trusted, intimate environment where honest conversations and a meaningful exchange of experience can happen.

Topic: How should engineering operate when everyone can build?
Engineering's job is shifting from building everything to enabling others to build well - and participating in decisions about what's worth building in the first place.
In typical tech organizations, engineering used to be the bottleneck: the pace was set by the people who could write the code. That is changing. Product, design, and even sales and marketing experts can now build working things themselves, and every function is renegotiating ownership and responsibility.
A working prototype isn't a product, though: who owns it once it's in production, and what do these new builders owe the engineers who used to receive their specs? How can engineering enable the rest of the organization to contribute without lowering the bar? And what should we build when the cost of producing code is approaching zero?
Our panel brings together perspectives from different functions to examine these questions.
