Les goûts réunis: Emmanuel Resche-Caserta
Join the Harvard Baroque Chamber Orchestra (HUBCO) for an evening with acclaimed Franco-Italian violinist Emmanuel Resche-Caserta, concertmaster of the renowned French Baroque ensemble Les Arts Florissants since 2017.
Emmanuel will explore the distinctive French and Italian national styles of the Baroque era, their musical differences and points of convergence, and their influence on German composers such as J. S. Bach.
A graduate of Sciences Po Paris, Resche-Caserta studied Baroque violin with leading specialists including Enrico Onofri, Monica Huggett, and François Fernandez. He has performed internationally under William Christie, led numerous European early-music ensembles, and founded his own ensemble, EXIT, dedicated to exploring lesser-known Baroque repertoire.
