Why Is It Paid?
If you’ve been a member of DWBC for a while, you’ll know that our events are usually free! However, you might also be aware of how difficult it can be to organise them when we have frequent cancellations and no-shows.
We’re still a one-woman run book club, and we’re not making a profit from these events. This modest fee will cover drinks and snacks and, hopefully, help make sure everyone who wants to attend has a spot!

Founded in Barcelona in 2023, we’ve since grown to 74 cities around the world, all reading the same book each month. We meet once a month, and everyone is welcome!
