About Event

Sign-Up to help us identify and connect with private homeowners, businesses, property owners, developers, and community partners interested in showcasing their properties and participating in a public-private partnership (PPP) to develop a future-ready, net-zero community powered by a renewable-energy hybrid microgrid.

Proposed Vision

Create a demonstration neighbourhood that integrates solar energy and vertical wind turbines, energy storage, smart-grid technologies, and energy-efficient buildings into a locally powered community energy system.

Participating property owners and businesses could contribute suitable rooftops, façades, land, or other sites for renewable-energy installations while benefiting from:

  • Shared energy savings and greater energy resilience

  • Potential net revenue/profit-sharing opportunities

  • Reduced dependence on conventional grid electricity

  • Local renewable-energy generation and storage

  • Opportunities to demonstrate innovative clean-energy technologies

  • A scalable model for net-zero neighbourhoods across Montréal and Québec

Montreal Climate Week Opportunity

Montreal Climate Week would provide an ideal platform to identify potential demonstration sites, engage property owners and businesses, showcase emerging technologies, and build the public-private-community partnerships required to advance the concept from vision to feasibility study and, ultimately, implementation.

The objective is to connect the right people, properties, technologies, investors, and public-sector partners to create a replicable model for a renewable-energy-powered, net-zero community.

I understand when I attend an event I enter an area where photography, audio, and video recording may occur. By entering the event premises, I consent to such recording media and its release, publication, exhibition or reproduction.
