BCE Alliance Presents: PREVENTION BY DESIGN
People. Process. Technology.
Central Question:
How must People, Process and Technology work differently to create resilient, responsible, and future-ready digital infrastructure?
Following BCE Alliance’s first Prevention by Design executive roundtable in London, we want to take the conversation forward at DCAC with a focused one-hour discussion around one of the biggest challenges facing digital infrastructure today:
Critical Risk Solution is honored to be moderating this roundtable event
As demand, complexity and technological change accelerate, is the way we collaborate, make decisions and deploy technology evolving quickly enough with them?
Rather than approaching resilience, environmental impact, resource use, operational risk and future-readiness as separate conversations, this roundtable looks at the relationship between the three things ultimately responsible for delivering them:
PEOPLE — Are the right stakeholders and expertise involved early enough to influence the decisions they will ultimately inherit?
PROCESS — Are traditional design, specification, procurement and delivery processes keeping pace with rapidly changing infrastructure requirements?
TECHNOLOGY — Are we using innovation simply to enable greater capacity, or to actively prevent failure, reduce impact and create infrastructure capable of adapting to what comes next?
The discussion will deliberately bring together perspectives from across the ecosystem to explore where the disconnects between these three areas are creating downstream consequences — and what needs to change upstream to prevent them.
Why this conversation matters
The industry is being asked to deliver more infrastructure, faster, while simultaneously improving resilience, resource responsibility, maintainability, and long-term performance.
The challenge is no longer simply whether we have the technology to do it.
It is whether our People, Processes and Technology are working together effectively enough to do it responsibly.
The session is designed as a genuine executive roundtable rather than a panel or product discussion, with one central question guiding the hour and a clear objective:
Identify where People, Process and Technology need to work differently today to prevent the risks we are likely to inherit tomorrow.
The findings will contribute to BCE Alliance’s developing Prevention by Design body of work, connecting insights from senior stakeholders across the mission critical ecosystem and moving the conversation from identifying industry challenges towards practical change.
