​A co-working meetup for lone/remote/job-hunting designerly* people to cross-pollinate, request work feedback, trade news & tools, and spark some delight. 💁‍♂️✨

​Agenda:

​2:00-4:00 Co-working & mingling: Mostly heads-down work independently, but take a minute or two to say hi to each other, give a blurb about what you’re working on, and enjoy Sa-Ten’s excellent coffee and food. (Come-and-go as you’re available.)

​4:00-5:00 Crit Sessions: Six 10-minute critique sessions for something you need input on. Could be a research plan, UI design, stakeholder presentation, or similar. I’ll have a sign up sheet in-person.

• ​4min Presenters share: what you’re working on, brief context, what’s challenging you, and what kind of feedback you’re looking for.

• ​6min Critiquers offer: questions, feedback, ideas, or resources.

​House rules & audience:

• ​All levels welcome, from student to principal to player-coach.

• ​Respect each others’ time, attention, space, and personhood. If someone needs to be heads-down for time, leave them to it.

• ​When someone is presenting work for crit, both presenter and audience will be attentive, constructive, and concise.

• ​All work shown is considered to be confidential. Presenters: Don’t share personally identifying info or sensitive corporate data. Critiquers: Don’t record presenter materials or lift IP.
