About Event

The commercial structures that shipping runs on were not designed for energy transition. Charter parties, broker incentives, newbuild specification windows, and financing terms: none of them naturally reward the decisions that decarbonisation requires. Some in the industry are finding ways through that. Most are not.

On 23 June in London, hosted by Braemar, the SSI members will bring together senior leaders from across the value chain to examine where the friction sits and what is actually working. SSI will present findings from its market intelligence programme, drawing on extensive engagement with shipyards, brokers, owners, charterers and technology providers across major maritime centres.

A panel of senior voices including Engebret Dahm (Klaveness Combination Carriers), Øistein Jensen (Odfjell), Claire Wright (Hanwa), Crispin Eccleston (Rightship), Robert Haggquist (South32), Peter Lye (Anglo American), Helen Barden (NorthStandard), Tony Linden (DNV), Joey Ng (Braemar), Kotaro Shirai (NYK) and SSI.

Places are limited and the audience is selected. Register your interest below, and we will confirm your place.

This event is for: Shipowners, operators, ship managers, charterers, bankers, insurers, brokers, and lawyers.
