Beauty, Strength, & Storytelling Honoring The Breast Cancer Community
Threads of Resilience: Beauty & Style is an evening of beauty, strength, and storytelling designed to honor cancer survivors and the communities that support them. Through shared stories, intentional beauty and wellness rituals, and creative style activations, guests will explore how self-expression becomes a form of healing, courage, and connection.
***All ticket sales will have a percentage of ticket sales donated to The Breasties, benefitting cancer research and support. Donation only tickets will have 100% of sales to The Breasties.***
This experience blends wellness, empowerment, and awareness — weaving together stories of survivorship with the artistry of beauty and fashion. Every touchpoint, from the story wall to the art as therapy activation, is created to uplift, inspire, and remind attendees that resilience is beautiful.
This is the first of a series of events designed to build community and give back to cancer survivors and research.
Event Description
Guests will enter a thoughtfully designed space where beauty and compassion meet. The evening combines style as armor, beauty as affirmation, and community as strength — guiding attendees through interactive activations and mindful self-care.
Highlights include:
Beauty Activations from BeautyLynk®, and beauty/skincare partners, celebrating confidence through self-expression.
Self Care Activation from Feather and Bone, featuring natural skin care product and head massage demos, rooted in Ayurvedic traditions
Style Presentation by Majuun featuring the Threads of Resilience pink macramé handbags from Majuun’s upcoming launch. Guests are invited to explore how storytelling and personal style are woven together by the women artisans behind each piece, reflecting strength and connection.
Letters of Love Activations – share a letter of love with your community
Creative Activations: - guests will enjoy activations by Mulji Creative, featuring Beads of Paradise and local business, sharing how to build resilience through creativity.
Wellness Activations - Shannon Leggett is a Physical Therapist and will speak how Befriend your Breath to Build Resilience and Community, through an breathwork session and tips.
Carry Kirkella is a documentary and portrait photographer and creator of the LENS method. Her photography activation will share her LENS method and how to practice and explore the 5 pillars of emotional resilience through creative photography (smartphone camera-friendly).
ayrloom is dedicated to elevating wellness through thoughtfully crafted products. They will be featuring a curated selection of balms for pain relief designed to promote balance and relaxation.
Eaton Botanicals will feature guided tastings of non-infused gummies, giving guests the chance to experience the flavors, botanicals, and adaptogens first-hand.
Lite Bites & Sips: curated refreshments (non-alcoholic & alcoholic) and Enhanced drink tastings with ayrloom featuring their signature Pink Rose Cider Float Station and Bluestone Lane beverages.
Tote Bags: filled with self-care and beauty items supporting ongoing awareness and wellness.
