1. Mohamed Amine Haouem

NHS Clinical Entrepreneur (Cohort 10), NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme
Founder, Nurtify
Mohamed Amine Haouem is a Lead Informatics Nurse at Barts Health NHS Trust, a Cohort 10 Fellow of the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme, and Founder of Nurtify. With more than 12 years of experience spanning emergency nursing, clinical research, and digital transformation, he brings a frontline perspective to healthcare innovation.
Mohamed began developing Nurtify after experiencing the administrative challenges faced by clinical trial teams, including repetitive documentation, fragmented processes, and time-consuming workflows. He is now working with a multidisciplinary team to explore how practical digital solutions and responsible automation can make research delivery more efficient and participant-centred.
Alongside building Nurtify, Mohamed supports EPR optimisation, clinical safety, digital adoption, and workflow redesign within the NHS. He is passionate about nurse-led innovation and encouraging clinicians from every background to help shape the future of healthcare.
2. Peter Huang
Co-founder, Healthtech-1 (Y Combinator S23)
NPeter Huang is co-founder and Chief Poeple Officer at Healthtech-1, a company he started in 2021 with Raj Kohli to automate administrative work for NHS general practice. Now they’re focussing on unlocking appointment access using AI.
What began as a project to help Raj's parents' GP practice during the pandemic has since gone through Y Combinator (S23), raised £2.7 million in seed funding led by Moonfire, and scaled to more than 1600 GP practices across England — saving an estimated 85,000+ hours of NHS staff time.
