​Harnessing carbon data to accelerate carbon finance in Japan

​A market discussion on how better carbon data, risk modelling and insurance are changing the way carbon credits are priced and financed, and what it will take to scale carbon finance in Japan.

​We will look at the data behind carbon projects, including satellite monitoring and climate risk modelling. We will also look at how insurance is helping financiers and buyers take on carbon exposure with more confidence. The discussion will cover Japan’s market, from the Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) to J-Credits.
