Join us at Wayne State University for this Blockchain 101 talk with featured speaker, Michigan State University Professor Dar Meshi! This is a rare chance to learn directly from a leading researcher at the intersection of psychology, technology, and Web3.

Featured Speaker, Professor Meshi

Professor Dar Meshi teaches Web3 at Michigan State University, he is an Associate Professor in the Department of Advertising and Public Relations. He investigates the psychology of technology use, primarily focusing on the use of social media platforms, as well as the use of web3. Dar earned his B.S. in biology from the University of California at Los Angeles, and his Ph.D. from Columbia University in New York.

Meet event cohost, Ivianna Feimster

Ivianna Feimster is a senior at Wayne State University studying Graphic Design in the College of Fine and Performing Arts. Her work focuses on the intersection of design, technology, and community engagement, often serving as a bridge between individuals, organizations, and opportunities that support growth and collaboration. She previously participated in the Michigan State University Apple Developer Academy, where she worked on tech-driven projects and connected with leaders in innovation. At Wayne State, she is collaborating on typography and layout for the Theatre and Dance Department’s 2026 season and helping coordinate event planning for the senior graphic design exhibition. She is also working with the nonprofit Yoganic Flow to support a holistic wellness event.
