Artist Talk: In Conversation with Faith Amanda

The event will be hosted at the Kamene Project Space: House no. 2925, Santack Estate, directly off Ngong Road, Nairobi.

In Our conversation we will examine how Faith Amanda employs color, movement, luminosity and expressive distortion to transform the observed world. Moving from the nocturnal landscapes of Kibra to the artist's emotional vocabulary, we will explore graffiti, art history and social realism, alongside a larger question:

“How does a painter make a place visible without reducing it to a familiar stereotype?”
