AI Safety Lunch + Coworking @ Machwerk

​Join us to meet others interested in or working in AI safety. Swap ideas, share your work, get advice and learn from others.

​The event has two components: lunch and coworking (before and/or after lunch).

For lunch, we'll meet at 1pm on the first floor landing outside the Machwerk offices in Mitte. Meet by the couch and then we'll head to a restaurant from there.

​For coworking, you can work at a desk within the Machwerk coworking space and chat with others in the kitchen. Coworking starts at 10am and goes until 5pm. Coworking is sponsored and free for everyone.

​DIRECTIONS

​To get to Machwerk, enter Alte Münze either via the doors on Molkenmarkt Straße or walk along the driveway that connects to Neue Jüdenstraße. Machwerk is in Haus 3, which runs along the river (but the entrance is inside the Alte Münze courtyard). Look for signs with white text on black directing you with arrows to Machwerk.

​The address is Am Krögel 2 c/o, Alte Münze Haus 3, 1. OG, 10179 Berlin, but ignore the Google directions and follow the directions above. There is construction along the southwest corner of the Alte Münze, which makes it a long way around the building if you walk along the riverwalk in front of the building and try to go around clockwise.

COWORKING SPACE

​The AI Safety coworking happens on the second floor of Haus 3 in the room labeled Studio.

​To get there, after entering Haus 3 by the Machwerk sign, walk up two flights of stairs. At the top of the stairs, make a right and walk almost to the end of the hall. You'll first pass the Machwerk Cube and then the next door on your right will be the Machwerk Studio.

​If the door is locked, message Trevor on Telegram and he'll come open it for you. Once you enter the studio, we're up the stairs in the loft area.
