Report Launch - How African CSOs Can Communicate to Win
REPORT LAUNCH & DISCUSSION
Overview
Social change requires strong, strategic communication.
But what do African civil society organisations (CSOs) need in order to communicate more effectively?
Across the continent, CSOs, activists, and social movements are working to advance social, economic, and environmental justice. Their success depends not only on the issues they raise, but on how clearly and strategically they communicate with the audiences that matter.
This online event marks the launch of the Communications Needs Assessment of African CSOs (Phase 1), conducted by the JendaGbeni Centre for Social Change Communications in collaboration with partners. The assessment is a first-of-its-kind effort to understand the current communications capacity of African civil society.
We Will Discuss:
Key findings from the Communications Needs Assessment
Gaps, challenges, and opportunities for collaboration and action
Pathways for strengthening communications, storytelling, and narrative power across African social movements
