​Science on Tap and Date My Mate are teaming up! Join us for a night where curiosity, romance, and powerpoint presentations collide.

​Watch scientists break down the science of social bonding and attraction, then stick around to see friends pitch their favorite humans to the crowd.

​Whether you’re here to learn, flirt, or just sip a beer as you embrace your passion for PowerPoint presentations, this night has something for you.

​FREE ENTRY with a suggested donation to the Salt Lake City Mutual Aid.

​Tickets are for spectating only. Presentations will feature a mix of presentees from the LGBTQ+ community

​What is Science on Tap?

​Science on Tap is a lecture series which takes place at local bars and breweries, in which scientists give short talks highlighting exciting science happening across the Wasatch Front.

​What is Date My Mate?

​​Date My Mate is a dating mixer where people present their single friends with a 3-5 minute pitch deck to a live crowd. It’s silly, embarrassing, and a ton of fun.

​​How do I get a presentation slot?

​​If you have an awesome single friend, you can fill out the waitlist form. Remember to check the LGBTQ+ box! Space is limited. Presenters and presentees will be contacted before January 9th.

​​Can I just watch presentations? 

​​Yes! Presenting is optional. Color-coded wristbands are provided to denote orientation and relationship status so there’s no second guessing intentions

​​Do I have to be single?

​​Anyone coming to support a friend or who is just curious is welcome to come!

​​What happens after presentations?

​​The event transitions into a singles mixer. We’ll be at MILK+, so dance the night away! Who knows who you’ll meet?
