Build Personal Agents with Hermes - Ship Room
What if your AI assistant could actually get things done for you?
Ship Room - Edition 4 is a hands-on build session where you’ll explore Hermes, an open-source AI agent designed to go beyond conversations and help you build agents that can reason, remember, use tools, and take action.
Instead of just learning how AI agents work, you’ll build one yourself.
We’ll start by breaking down what makes personal agents useful - from memory and tool use to workflows and autonomy. Then, you’ll get 1.5 hours of hands-on building to turn an idea, repetitive task, or personal workflow into a working agent with Hermes.
Whether you want an agent for research, coding, productivity, automation, or something completely experimental, this is your space to build and see what’s possible.
And, as always, there’s time to meet and exchange ideas with engineers, founders, product builders, and AI enthusiasts from the Airtribe community.
What You’ll Do:
» Explore how personal AI agents work
» Understand Hermes and its core capabilities
» Build an agent around your own use case
» Experiment with memory, tools, and autonomous workflows
» Share what you build and learn from other builders
This Is For:
