About Event

These are tough times to be an artist.

Gen AI is already fooling untrained eyes and costs a fraction of what a human would charge.

Nearly everyone carries a fantastic camera in their pocket at all times. Who needs painters, illustrators, designers anymore?

More photos and videos are being uploaded on the web at any second that you could watch in your lifetime.

I would understand if you'd prefer to spend your limited time and energy on other high RoI activities;

But if you'd like to lean in, double down on creation, create more memorable images and express yourself fully, I can share the playbook I wish I had when I started as a photographer.

We'll go over:

  • when it doesn't make sense to even enter this rabbit hole

  • questions to refine and polish your message (which will align all the execution)

  • Beginner advice vs Advanced advice

  • Fidelity vs Authenticity

  • using composition as structure to support your vision, not as a dogmatic prison to shackle your creativity

  • using all properties of light to guide the eye

  • setting the mood with color psychology.

There will be tons of examples and you're more than welcome to share yours from past artistic experiences.

You'll get the .ppt at the end even if I end up rambling and swearing with a bad accent along the way :)
