​What is PitchTank?

​PitchTank is a pitch competition reimagined as a live stock market. Founders pitch on stage as tradable tickers. The audience trades them in real time using $1M virtual portfolios. The founder with the highest market cap wins. The audience traders with the sharpest portfolios take a cut of the $10K prize pool.

​Do I need any experience to trade?

​Nope. If you can tap a buy or sell button, you can play. The app is built for first-time traders, and most of the room will be figuring it out alongside you.

​How does the trading actually work?

​You'll get $1M in virtual capital when you check in. As each founder pitches, you can buy, sell, or hold their stock through the PitchTank app. Prices move based on what the room is doing. Your portfolio value at the end of the night determines your spot on the leaderboard.

​What do I need to bring?

​A smartphone with the PitchTank website. We'll send setup instructions after you register. Bring it charged — you'll be on it all night.
