FOSDEM’26 fringe: AI Plumbers (un)conference
We got lucky and are running AI Devroom at FOSDEM26 again. Of course, we would also love to run a 2nd installment of the AI Plumbers Fringe Event!
This time it is going to be very hardware-focused, as well - as we started open sourсe work on ET AI hardware over here: https://github.com/aifoundry-org
However, this doesn't mean we won't have some fun talks to kick-off the unconference part:
Elyes Kanzari "Beyond Text: Building a Distributed, Real-Time Generative UI Engine"
William Kennedy "Hardware accelerated local inference with llama.cpp directly integrated into Go applications"
Sergy Sergyenko "The $100 Robot Arm: Low-Cost Open-Source Infrastructure for Embodied AI Inference"
Roman Shaposhnik & Tanya Dadasheva "Managing swarms of Coding Agents"
Kamil Benkirane "Primitives Over Frameworks: Building Provider/Capability-Agnostic AI Without Vendor Lock-In"
Ben Burtenshaw "Hugging Face’s kernels community"
William Jones "Bare metal ExecuTorch on RISC-V: questions and challenges"
If you want your talk to be listed above — please reach out on AI Foundry Discord https://discord.com/invite/WNKvkefkUs
This event is a continuation of the DevRoom to have more time together in a more relaxed atmosphere. Expect hands-on sessions not just talks. Bring all your questions, unresolved issues and unaccepted PR requests.
