​MizMehndi here! I'm so glad you're interested in attending Queer Henna Party at Khales House, an intimate night of connecting over shared histories, resisting cultural commodification & erasure, and having fun :)

​This event is for folks interested in decolonized histories & artforms, diaspora storytellers, indigenous plant lovers, & anyone who still cares about Palestine.

​Your ticket will include entry to the decolonized henna workshop & an organic henna cone to take home. Proceeds will go toward @studentcentergaza in Palestine and sustaining Khale's House as a cultural and community hub in LA. Come ready to get your hands a little messy (henna can stain clothing). No experience needed!

​Arrive at 5:00 PM to buy a cup of tea from @bulanapothecary and enjoy light refreshments in the garden. Workshop will begin promptly at 5:30 PM, followed by music and activities, including herbalism demos from @bulanapothecary.

​Khale's House is a community-rooted space for shared learning, healing, and resilience building, inspired by our SWANA ancestry and culture. Based in the San Fernando Valley.
