Demos Anon #4
A meet-up for builders and doers in London. Pizza, drinks, and 3 X 7-minute demos of whatever you're working on - side projects, research, hardware hacks, startup tech, weird experiments. Work in progress is very much encouraged.
* spaces are very limited - 20-30 highly-selective people only.
Demoers:
- Brandon Lutagamirwa - working in collaboration with NATS (National Air Traffic Services) to create an AI model to replace/duplicate air traffic controllers
- Jeffrey Chang - on lessons learnt from pivoting a poker app one week before launch
- Lorenz Golser, Kayyan Elmasry, Aryaman Sarda - building Green Star, a web extension that will provide ratings on how sustainable clothes are, and where they’re not sustainable we provide alternatives that look similar, are cheaper and more sustainable.
Demos Anon London (https://www.demoslondon.com) is the sister community of Demos Anon Dublin, which has been running for 2.5 years and 50+ sessions strong. In Dublin, past demos have ranged from at-home stroke risk monitoring hardware (NeuroSonic), to classifying the coldest exoplanets using James Webb Space Telescope data, to building a brain-computer interface, to a coin-sized swim timer designed to mount inside goggles, to toolpath generation methods for 3D printing. The thread that connects it all: people who build things showing other people who build things what they're obsessed with.
This is our 4th London session in collab with Entrepreneurs First (who supported us at the beginning!) Come hang out, meet some cool people, and maybe sign up to demo something at a future session.
Free to attend. Pizza and drinks are covered.
