Public Lecture with Yusuf Shah Masud

​Berkeley Muslim Life is hosting Ustadh Yusuf Shah Masud, one of our three finalists for the Director of Muslim Life opening, for a public lecture on the topic of 'Navigating Our Place in America as Muslims'.

​Ustadh Yusuf Shah Masud is a proud member of the Phoenix Muslim community. He serves as the Director of Development at Arizona Cultural Academy — the state's only K-12 Islamic school and ranked one of the top private schools in Arizona. He is also the Director of Development of Greater Arizona, the largest scholarship provider for Muslim students in the United States. In addition to serving on the boards of several local nonprofits and masajid, Yusuf is the founder of MuslimFinance.com. He has spent over a decade studying the Islamic sciences with scholars in the Bay Area and beyond. He is a certified teacher, a certified financial coach, and a graduate of Zaytuna College in Berkeley.
