​Friend in Store is the app for people who love independent stores, in-person shopping and in-store events. Designed as a central and curated place to discover extraordinary stores and their in-store experiences. The parties, workshops, tastings, talks, pop-ups, game nights and more happening every day inside stores across the city.

​This November, we’re inviting you to join us for Friendsgiving and reimagine the holiday as a series of citywide gatherings – in stores. 

​On November 20th, we're joining our friends at Annie's Blue Ribbon General Store for a special evening: 'The Art of the Host', a celebration of those who engage, lead, entertain & bring us together, in stores. 

​Guests are invited to sip, shop & be immersed in the act of creating. Have your pet's portrait drawn by illustrator, Jordan Sondler. Enjoy in a crafting session with textile artist, Rose Pearlman. Join a group puzzling challenge with Le Puzz. And meet the designers, artists, community hosts and more who gather, broker conversation & inspire.

​Guests will enjoy a Aperitivo Table by PRIMO, paired with sparkling spritzes by Ramona and non-alcoholic amaro cocktails from Mad Flora.

​Reserve your Pet Portraits by Jordan Sondler

​Bring a pet or a photo for a custom portrait! Jordan Sondler will be booking individual time slots for pet portraits at the event. Each portrait is $55. Sign up for as many time slots as you’d like to purchase portraits (i.e. 2 pets = 2 time slots)

​Claim a time slot or reserve portraits for pick-up HERE. 

​You may also order unlimited portraits to be ready for pick up during the evening.  Enter your slot in the green section (not yellow) for pick-up only.  Jordan will email you for photos.

​Please Venmo $55 per portrait to @jordan-sondler after signing up to reserve your space.

​Portraits begin at 4:30pm and go until 7:30pm.
