Silent Book Club Torrance @ Mychal's Cafe 7/18
*** Spots are limited for this event and you must register here. This helps us with planning and ensures everyone has a seat.
*** We may take a group photo immediately after the silent reading hour. If you wish to not be in the photo, feel free to step away and stretch your legs while the photo is being taken. Afterward, we take a photo of all the books stacked together. If you’d like to participate in that one, you’re more than welcome to join!
*** If you wish, bring headphones, ear plugs, etc. for the reading portion of the event since there may be café chatter and music.
About Us
Welcome to the Silent Book Club chapter in Torrance, CA! Whether you're an avid reader or just looking to make some new bookish friends, this group and event is open to all. There is no assigned reading and you bring your own book! We read silently with time frames to socialize. All readers are welcome!

12:30 - 1, We settle in, chit-chat, order beverages/food
1 - 1:10ish, Intros!
1:10ish - 2:10, We read silently.
2:10 - 2:20ish, Group picture!
2:20ish - 3, We chit-chat, hang out!
