​100+ students. Multiple universities. One room in Dublin. One day to turn an idea into something real.

​Join students from universities across Ireland for a one-day hackathon built around one challenge:

​How can we use AI and technology to improve student life?

​Form a team of up to 5, choose a problem you care about and spend the day turning an idea into a working prototype.

​Students from every discipline and skill level are welcome. You don’t need to be an experienced developer, arrive with a team or already have an idea. We’ll help you get started.

• ​An AI assistant that solves a student problem

• ​A better way to find jobs, internships or opportunities

• ​Something that makes everyday student life easier

​What the day looks like

​1:00 PM: Doors open, registration & breakfast
1:20 PM: Welcome, challenge & introductions
1:40 PM: Notion Hackathon HQ + tools
2:00 PM: Team formation & ideation
2:20 PM: Build begins
4:00 PM: Working lunch
4:20 PM: Build continues + mentor support
5:35 PM: Finalise & submit projects
5:50 PM: Pitches begin
7:30 PM: Pitches finish + judges discussion
7:50 PM: Winners & prizes
8:00 PM: Close

​Bring a laptop and charger. Everything else you need to get started will be explained on the day.

​Hackathon HQ

​Every team will receive a pre-built Notion Hackathon HQ to manage their problem, research, team, tasks, build and final pitch. Students can also avail of free Notion Plus subscription for the duration of their studies

​Give(a)Go is one of Ireland’s largest builder communities, bringing 3,000+ engineers, founders and product people together through hands-on prototyping events.

​Dublin AI Week

​This event is part of Dublin AI Week, a citywide programme of practical AI events by Give(a)Go and Baseline.
